Nikki's New Experiences

I had a great time while Nikki was here. I got to show her all kinds of new things, but I'm not sure how she felt about all of them...

...her first Korean meal, for example. It was sam gip sal. It's little pieces of pork you cook yourself then add lettuce, rice, onions, bean paste, flavoring, etc. You wrap it up in the lettuce and eat it in one bite. Yummy! I think she liked it better the second time she had it. I think she was still extremely confused (jet-lag) when this picture was taken.

A couple days later I told her we were having this for lunch. I think she actually believed me because she looked scared.

I took her to my skin doctor to have a freckle removed. Again, I'm not sure how she felt about doing this, but she said it didn't hurt. I have had this done so many times that I thought she needed it to experience my Korea! :)

As we all can tell from this photo, she wasn't crazy about having fish eat her feet!

However, I think she took to the noraebang pretty well...

...and the batting cages, but she wasn't that great. (Proof of this later.)

She enjoyed her tea at the traditional tea house, but not the rice pastries. I enjoyed the rice stuff, but not my tea. I guess we both had mixed feelings about this one.

We even got to celebrate her and Rachael's birthday with a Baskin Robbin's ice cream cake in a DVD bang. We watched a weird movie, but Nikki said she liked it.

All in all, I hope she enjoyed herself, but some of these pictures might tell me otherwise. :)

Just to let you know that was my only Birthday cake! Actually the only celebration of my birthday at all really. And I did have fun, I kinda miss it but not enough to move there. As for my Freckle I don't really think it is gone, maybe lighter but still there.
